Resource Development:

While many bible studies exist, there are very few targeted pamphlets available to reach post-abortive hearts. Ramah International Inc. is working to develop these much-needed resources and other items such as a post abortion outreach-training manual and a devotional book. President and Founder, Sydna Masse, published her first book in 1999, Her Choice to Heal: Finding Spiritual and Emotional Peace After Abortion (Chariot/Victor Publishing, ISBN# 1-56476-734-5).

Building a General Awareness of the Post Abortion Issues

Since there is a general lack of publicity on the issue of the hope of healing after an abortion, Ramah International Inc. is committed to encouraging media contacts to reach out to post-abortive individuals by publishing articles or completing radio programs on this topic.

Referral Services:

Ramah International does not provide professional counseling services. However, ministry assistance is available through speaking with Sydna and her staff of supporters. Referrals can be made to local post abortion ministry programs. If you know someone who is struggling with post abortion trauma, you can find help in the "Abortion Alternatives" section of your Yellow Pages. Christian Crisis Pregnancy Centers normally advertise in this section. Or you can contact, e-mail or write to Ramah International.

Research:

Very little scientific study has been completed on the issue of post abortion syndrome. Ramah International Inc. is working with established research organizations (International Institute of Pregnancy Loss and Child Abuse Research and Recovery, The Elliott Institute, The Institute of Pregnancy Loss) to encourage scientific research and promote donations towards this cause. International Ministry Services:

The Alan Guttmacher Institute reports that 50 million abortions occur worldwide each year In some countries the average number of abortions per woman is 8-10. Romania and China have reported a 100% post abortion rate among women. The need for ministry services in these areas is critical.

There are several ministry groups working to establish pregnancy care centers in foreign countries. Many pro-life booklets have been translated into other languages. Ramah International Inc. is seeking to network these ministries and encourage post abortion ministry development. Training programs will be offered in future years in several targeted countries.

Very few direct ministries to post-abortive individuals exist outside of the crisis pregnancy center community. In an effort to not only enhance existing programs, but also to develop new ones, Ramah is committed to providing detailed instruction in the area of post abortion outreach development.
